SM Gallivan is pleased to share that on May 22, the U.S. Senate passed a resolution under the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to rescind the EPA waiver that allowed states—including New York—to adopt California’s Advanced Clean Trucks (ACT) rule. This resolution, which previously passed the House, now heads to President Trump for his signature.

This outcome is a direct result of powerful grassroots advocacy led by our friends at TANY, Dimmick Group Peterbilt, Tracey Road Equipment, and many others across the NY trucking community. Thank you for including SM Gallivan in this fight against unrealistic mandates.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved—especially our local lawmakers who took the time to sit down with us and truly listen to the concerns of the trucking industry.
